New Windsor School Hosts Veterans Day Breakfast & Reading Event
New Windsor School Hosted a Veterans Day breakfast for over 20 visiting active military members and veterans from the community who read to all NWS scholars. Visitors also recited the Pledge of Allegiance during morning announcements.
The event was organized by Karen Roberts, Margaret Depuy and Michelle Bowe. Donations for the event were granted by the community and staff. Music was organized by Mary Petruncola. Welcoming ceremony flute players were Hedi Barragan, Ayla Fuat and Mia Diaz.
