Calendar Update - First Day of School is Now September 8, 2020
UPDATE: This is an update to the district calendar. The first day of school for scholars is now Tuesday, September 8, 2020. All learning for all scholars will be virtual for the month of September. Scholars should sign into their Google Classrooms at 9:00am on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Teacher assignments, schedules and Google Class codes will be available soon, if you have not received them already. Additional information about learning for the 2020-2021 school year can be found on our website NewburghSchools.org/reopen.
If your scholar opted for 100% virtual learning from September - January, you will be receiving additional information soon.
If your scholar did NOT opt for 100% virtual learning from September - January, you can find the plan to phase back into in-person learning beginning on page 8 in the Family Guidebook for Reopening Schools.
This update was approved by the Board of Education at a regular meeting held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
