The NFA Main campus Social Workers presented an event that introduced students and staff to community resources, connecting students with valuable information and resources that exist in our community.

Students received a guided tour of the building, met with Assmblymembers Christopher Eachus and Jonathan Jacobson, and interacted with community partners who tabled there in honor of America's 250th celebration!

The event was designed to empower students to explore various pathways for life after high school. This allowed students to get a glimpse into college life as well as the career and technical pathway.

The NFA Black History Club will host our annual basketball tournament. This year, the tournament will feature Pro Am players, a former Knicks player, and student athletes.

They performed at Kutztown University in front of two Judges. Each performing group prepared two pieces of music to perform for adjudication.

Students enjoyed a day packed with music, collaborative games, and exciting water activities that kept everyone smiling and engaged.

Students had a blast celebrating the end of the school year in vibrant neon style, enjoying an evening filled with music, dancing, and unforgettable memories.

Select students in seventh and eighth grade who demonstrate the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship took the pledge and were inducted.

We will resume Friday, June 12th!

This project challenges them to combine critical thinking, artistic design, and teamwork as they brought their mathematical creations to life.

Parents and community changers, Rebecca Harrison and Joshua Brown from Newburgh Plays had arrived with a mission: to gather playground design ideas from the true experts—the children themselves.

Students began by reading three poems together before taking turns reciting individual selections, including original works and poems by their favorite authors.

From their very first days of exploring the classroom to today and learning how to ride the school bus, they have filled our halls with laughter, curiosity, and incredible kindness.

Welcomed, by current NHS president, Ms. Tina Wang, inductees and guests learned about the qualities of Leadership, Character, Scholarship, and Service before receiving their certificates and reciting an oath.

The certificate is for successful completion of the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services required to be employed as a trained security guard in New York State.

Beginning on June 1, 2026, at Newburgh Free Academy's North, and on June 3, 2026, at Newburgh Free Academy Main, a state-of-the-art entry screening system using advanced scanning machines will be implemented.
