The bad weather did not stop these Balmville scholars and their Physical Education Teacher, Mr. Lubrano from participating in the Safe Harbors 5K Race on May 13th, 2018. Scholars ran to support Safe Harbors and its programs. We are proud of these scholars for their volunteerism and supportive nature! See a photo recap here. The Safe Harbors of the Hudson 5K featured stunning views of the Hudson River and the famous architecture of Newburgh’s historic district. Starting and finishing in historic downtown at 111 Broadway Newburgh, NY. The school with the most race registrants was awarded a trophy, and Balmville won this honor!. All students K-12 and up to age 18 were eligible to enter the 5K at a $10 rate.
