Balmville ENL Teachers Host an Information Breakfast Session for Families
On September 25th, Balmville ENL Teachers Hosted an ENL (English as a New Language) Information Breakfast Session for families.
The Session explained the ENL units/hours and levels of study, testing standards and schedules, reading level expectations, parent involvement tips, local organizations who can assist with continuing education for families, and so much more.
The session was also attended by Balmville Principal, Dr. Lisa Buon, Assistant Principal, Beverly Johnson, NECSD Director of Language Acquisition & World Languages, Director Chastity Beato, and a special guest from Orange-Ulster BOCES, Adhara Jimeez-Banse, Literacy Case Manager.
