Local scholarship advertisements will begin today! These local scholarships are open to NFA SENIORS ONLY. A list of the scholarship opportunities available will be posted in the NFA Main & North Guidance Office.
Attention students: This year, we will be holding scholarship workshops starting February 8th. These workshops will be held every Monday and Wednesday periods 3 – 7. The purpose of the workshop is for students to be able to view all of the scholarships available and complete the applications in the Guidance Career Center.
There will be an informational meeting for the NFA Varsity Crew Team on Tuesday, February 9th at 2:30 PM in the North Cafeteria at

Juniors, see your school counselor NOW to plan for life after NFA. It is time to take the next steps toward college and career! Are you “Good to Go?” Your school counselor has the answer.
A representative from Jostens will be here on Wednesday, February 10th and Thursday, February 11th to answer questions and take orders for class rings. They will be in the glass hallway, by the bookstore at Main Campus and in the cafeteria at North Campus. Informational packets are available in the Student Activities Office or go online to www.jostens.com.
The Sophomore Class is sponsoring the NFA Valentine’s Day Dance on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 in the Eagle’s Nest. Tickets will go on sale February1, 2016 in the book store for $2.00 each. Pick up your permission slips in your administrator’s office at both Main and North. EVERYONE is encouraged to buy a ticket and come!
Attention Spanish teachers and students – The members of the Spanish Honor Society will be offering tutoring sessions on February 4th and 18th in room 285, Main at 2:15. All are welcome to attend.
The NFA girls’ varsity lacrosse team is holding open gym every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30 at Temple Hill. All grade levels are welcome and no experience is needed to attend.
Attention students: Registration for Advanced Placement Exams is now underway. To register you must bring payment to Mr. Hill in the Guidance Office. The final day to register and order an exam is Thursday, February 11th, 2016. There will be no extensions.
No bus passes will be issued by Mr. Cruz after 12 PM
The NFA Interact Club meets on Tuesdays in room 218. Please join us if you are interested in becoming part of a global organization and serving your community.
Need help with your writing assignments? The NFA Writing Center is open and can help you! Passes are available from your teachers, administrators and guidance counselors. You can also request a pass from any teacher in the cafeteria. So, Write On, and visit room 324, your writing center here at NFA.
The Eagle’s Nest is now open for use after school. It can be used for any after school meetings. You can sign up to use the room in Room 264 with Ms. Mills.
