Horizons on the Hudson Teacher Honored by Mid-Hudson School Study Council
On September 19, 2011, Horizons on the Hudson Magnet School’s Judy Ambrosetti was honored with the 2011 Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching by the Mid-Hudson School Study Council. Ambrosetti has been a teacher at Horizons for 17 years and currently teaches the kindergarten accelerated class. Horizons on the Hudson Principal Lisa Buon explained that Ambrosetti was integral in the school being authorized as an International Baccalaureate World School.
A dinner will be held for all honorees in the region on October 12, 2011 at Anthony’s Pier 9. Former honorees from Horizons include Matt Barbero, Fran Bennett, Dawn Grieco, and Margaret Kiernan.
