Excellence through Creativity
Fostertown ETC Magnet School is an educational environment where students participate in hands-on experiences in the fine and performing arts.

Spotlights
Children attend workshops in dance, theater, music, visual art, set design, set construction and technology that foster creative approaches to learning and problem solving. Spotlights are facilitated to incorporate all students into the development and implementation of a large scale theatrical production. The students learn a variety of theater related skills that are interdisciplinary in nature and encompass the four core subject areas of ELA, math, science and social studies.

Song Swaps
In our primary grades(K-1), students become acclimated with our theme by performing in grade level "Song Swaps". Children learn entertaining songs that are curriculum related and foster the NYS Learning Standards. Song Swaps also encourage communication, vocabulary and oratory skills.
