This is a reminder to students:

 

Attention Class of 2018 - TODAY, from periods 4 through 7 in the Guidance College and Career Center, Join counselors for FREE MONEY FRIDAY!  The NFA Local Scholarship program offers scholarships exclusively to NFA SENIORS so stop in and apply!! The deadline is March 12th so don’t delay, visit www.scholarships.newburghschools.org to get started. You’ve got to be in it to WIN IT!

 

Any student or staff interested in participating in the Marathon Project, a free afterschool program, please attend the meeting TODAY afterschool in the Cosmetology room.

 

Attention Class of 2018! Interested in writing an essay for money?  Are you going to college or a carer and technical program this fall?  If so, apply for the Annual NFA Local Scholarships!  Today is the official kick off of 70 scholarships totaling over $175, 000 that are ONLY available to NFA Seniors!

 

NFA Scholarship workshops are going to be held in the College and Career Center at Main every Friday

until March 9th from periods 4-7.  Plan to attend a workshop to get your online scholarship application started or visit www.scholarships.newburghschools.org.  Any questions, visit the Guidance Office.

The Debate Team is hosting a fundraiser at Five Guys in Newburgh on Feb. 26th from 4-10 pm. Please come out and support us.

The votes are in.  The Senior Prom theme is “Old Hollywood”!  It was a landslide.  The prom is June 1, 2018.

 

Students, please sign up for the Empire After-School program.  The program runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for one hour right after school. There are different classes you can sign up for.  Please pick up a registration package in the main office.

 

The cosmetology program will be open for beauty services on Friday's during periods 1-4. 

 

The NFA Zero Waste Club is composting. Please separate your cafeteria waste accordingly.  Remember! Plastics and foil go in one bin.  Food, paper and napkins go in another pin.  Trash goes in the thrid bin.  Thank you!

The NFA Barbering program has open clinic hours’ everyday periods 5 & 6.  Stop by and make an appointment.  No appointments will be made during class time and no late passes will be given.  Haircuts, edge ups, eyebrows, fades and shaves for free.
