AP Studio and Art Hosts Opening Reception at NFA Gallery
The Advanced Placement Studio and Art at Newburgh Free Academy, Main Campus hosted an opening reception on Thursday, May 31, 2018 in the Newburgh Free Academy Art Gallery. Scholars in AP Studio and Art highlighted multiple pieces that they completed throughout the year. Scholars ranged from sophomores to seniors.
Some students plan to pursue artistic majors and careers in the future, but some view art as an outlet for expressing themselves and have career goals outside of the arts.
Artwork was available to view in the gallery every day and remained up for a few weeks following the show.
