Extended School Year Program’s Balmville Media and Communications Center Component
The Extended School Year Program’s Balmville Media and Communications Center component recently concluded after a six-week period. Students focused on reading, math, and socialization skills in addition to other special areas of study. During their time in the program, students also focused on health and wellness. Above, NECSD Teaching Assistant Kattya Fernandez, a certified Zumba instructor, volunteers her time to teach a Zumba class for the enthusiastic young students.
