NECSD Honors Handwashing Poster Contest Winners



     Recently, the Newburgh Enlarged City School District Board of Education honored the winners of the District’s Health and Safety Committee Annual Handwashing Poster Contest for students in Grades K-5. The contest focuses on teaching the importance of adopting healthy habits and lifestyles.      Assistant Superintendent for Student Intervention and Support Services Dr. David E. Noriega and Health and Safety Committee Co-chairs, NECSD School Nurse Teacher Jeanne Daley and BOE Member Thomas Woodhull, presented $25 Barnes and Noble gift cards courtesy of Marshall & Sterling Insurance Company to the winners.
