The New York State Mathematics Exams will be administered on Tuesday, March 11, and Wednesday, March 12, 2008. In the event of a snow delay or closing, Thursday March 13, 2008 has been set aside as a possible testing date.
These examinations involve all grade 7 and 8 students and are extremely important to your child and our school. It is important that all grade 7 and 8 students report to school on time for testing at 7:25 AM. The testing session will run from 8AM to 10:15AM daily. For the two days of testing 9th grade students will report to school at 10:15AM. A separate transportation bus run will be in effect for 9th grade students on the two days of testing.
A separate letter will be sent home early in March regarding the start time for 9th grade students. It is important that every student attend on these days as the school is graded not only on performance, but also on student participation.
