The four-part workshop series is designed to help families learn how literacy knowledge and skills develop in young children (ages 3-4) and what they can do to support their child's growth even before school begins.
The sessions include simple yet powerful activities in each of the six key areas of literacy development such as concepts of print, writing, phonological awareness, letter-sound knowledge, comprehension and oral language.
Childcare is available for the first part of the session then children join their families to participate in the activities together.
